Celebrate Pride Month with the second installment of PelikuLAYA
This June, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) celebrates Pride Month with the second installment of PelikuLAYA, an LGBTQIA+ film festival from June 4 to 30.
Viewers have a choice between a free basic lineup of films and a paid subscription (Php 99.00) The subscription includes:
- “Masahista” by Brillante Mendoza,
- “I Love You. Thank You” by Charliebebs Gohetia,
- “Mga Gabing Kasing Haba ng Hair Ko” by Gerardo Calagui,
- “Miss Bulalacao” by Ara Chawdhury,
- “Ang Huling Cha-Cha Ni Anita” by Sigrid Andrea P. Bernardo,
- “Best. Partee. Ever.” by HF Yambao, and
- “Ned’s Project” by Lem Lorca.

Aside from the main lineup of films, viewers can also expect special events and panel discussions, such as Film Talks, which will be streamed live on FDCP’s Facebook and Youtube pages. Check out their calendar for a complete list of special events:

Also worth mentioning is the Philippine Online Premiere of Cannes Winner “Portrait of a Lady on Fire,” which will be part of this year’s PelikuLAYA. The film will be available from June 4 to 30 for Php 220, which gives the viewer seven-day access that will expire 48 hours after the first play.
